monkey patching is now bright signal
So the podcast has a new name, a new co-host, and a slightly different focus.
For the past year Murilo and I have been doing The Monkey Patching Podcast. We grew it to 8,000+ YouTube subscribers, mostly on the back of weekly tech updates and a fair bit of code chatter. I loved doing it.
But the episodes that got me most excited were the ones where we sat down with founders actually building things in Europe. So we're going to do a lot more of those. We'll still cover the news, just to a lesser extent than before. The center of gravity is shifting toward long-form interviews with founders and operators across European tech.
We're also welcoming Raphaël Di Giambattista as co-host. (Long name, great human.) Three voices instead of two, which I think is going to make the conversations better.
New name: Bright Signal. Tech news and interviews from a European perspective. Same crew (plus one), slightly different shape.
The first new episode is already up. We talked to Marco Ramilli, CEO of identifAI Labs, about deepfake detection. Had a lot of fun with that one. Have a listen and let me know what you think.
Cheers.
